Getting there

Despite the rain we have managed 3 days in a row at the allotment. Paths between the beds have been weeded and bark and chippings spread. A big clear up of the utility area at the back. Still some work to do there but it looking manageable now. And most importantly getting the beds prepared for planting. I think the beans and courgettes will go in next week.
On the negative side we are fighting the mares tails and at the moment we’re not winning. Also disappointed that the wildflower mix I planted a few weeks ago have done nothing. Will have to try again.
