Invaluable gadget

Way back during my treatment for prostate cancer, hot flushes were a regular side-effect of the hormone injections I was getting. Back then the best cure was to use a cooling spray, but later on traditonal fans (like flamenco dancers use) were indispensable. Nowadays, this is the gadget of choice to relieve moments of over-heating.

It's a multi-speed fan, rechargeable over USB. This one's rather bulky, but we also have a more compact alternative which goes with us whenever we travel.
