Mount Panorama

Our hotel room is directly above the famous Mount Panorama motor racing circuit in Bathurst. When there isn’t a race event the circuit is also a very twisty public road with a steep climb to a spectacular view.  I thought it was quite scary enough at the regulation 60kms, and I can’t imagine what it would be like at racing speed. 
This morning the circuit was alive with grazing kangaroos. 
The hotel naturally has a racing theme. It was rather odd to have pictures of racing cars in our room instead of the usual pastel scenes (extra). 
The highlight of the day was to finally meet fellow blipper 59. There was so much to talk about, and not enough time. 59 has described it better than I can. Enjoy your travels, 59 and Bob. We will be  blipping along with you!
