Goslings.
The Feast Day of St. Pancras of Rome.
It is suddenly very cold again, 11c but it feels more like 5c.
I took this photo of the six Canada Geese gosling family yesterday afternoon when it was warm and sunny.
They are so beautiful and precious. It concerns me how trusting the parent geese are. They both stay together with the little brood on the grassy banking where many people walk their dogs. Some even feed the birds with chunks of white bread which is not good for the wild birds. Dry oats and bird seed are better but at this time of year the canal and vegetation provide all the food and nutrition the geese need.
The swan continues to sit on her eggs so I am still waiting for the new born cygnets to appear.
For a few hours today more sifting through books and things to clear out at home.
I am doing the dining room and Paul is cleaning out a cupboard in the bathroom.
Have a good day and thank you for visiting my site blip friends.
