The 40s Club

Well, turning 40 has been pretty wonderful!
A lovely early morning with Danny and the kids, full of surprises...including a rocking chair! I've always wanted a rocking chair!! Then off to brunch with Susanna and Claire, and we met the 24-7 guys there! Then back in time to pick up the kids and walk to the beach to meet friends for a drink. About an hour in and my friend Amanda from Glasgow casually walked up!!!! Sooooo delighted she's here, I had no idea whatsoever! She and Danny did well...
Claire looked after the kids tonight so Danny and I could have tea with Amanda and her twin, Sarah. A gorgeous evening with them.
Turning 40 has been pretty fantastic!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) All the love, care & effort people have put into celebrating with me today, especially Danny.
2) The lovely phonecalls, messages, videos I've received from people.
3) The memories I'll keep from this day.
