Sea Urchin

Nick and I ate breakfast outside. It was cooler, but I love to sit under the apple trees and read with some food. Nick read the paper and I read a little more of Life After Life by Kate Atkinson. Afterwards we mixed up the concrete, sand and stones to make two planters for my sempervivums. I can't wait to see what they will be like tomorrow. I planted the rest of the vegetable seedlings out too and then spent a goodly amount of time wandering about the grden thinking how lovely everything looked.

Nick and Murron were bob a jobbing in Gifford for the afternoon and returned tired and hungry. I made Carrot and Halloumi fritters and a blueberry tart. Once again we ate outside and it was very jolly until I mentioned to the children washing and wiping up....
