Flicker

I believe these are called Flickers and the bigger ones are woodpeckers.  We get both and they love the suet feeder.  With their long beaks and head they don't have any trouble pushing through the bars of the feeder to take what they want.       
  Thank you all for the lovely comments and commiserating with me on the loss of my tulips.  Not sure how many times I muttered the words.... dang dear, today!  Oh, well.  At least my one favorite parrot tulip survived the onslaught!  
    I appreciate the hearts and stars of late too.   We have a study on the US Constitution tonight, so not sure how many journals I will be able to get to.   I so appreciate you guys!!
