Cute little neighbor

Someone's moved in and is making a nest. This is a barrel out near the bunny barn. It's good the gates are closed and the cat doesn't get in the garden area. I was in there this morning doing some weeding in my tulip patch and could hear scrabbling noises. I went to watch the hole and she kept popping her head out at me. I'm assuming she is one of the ones who come up on the deck for sunflower seeds.
I stayed home today because I had a late afternoon doctor's appointment in a town about an hour away. I just decided to take a sick day and it was worth it. It was a beautiful morning and I had some time in the teahouse for a little read.
