Mal de Mer

Oh Lordy, I thought I was going to die today. I’ve never been so ill on a boat before. We had booked a trip and were picked up this morning from the hotel….we thought the driver was late but we had the time wrong. We blame the pilot; as we landed he said there was an hour difference so we duly changed our watches. Anyway, we got to the boat and sat up front. It was a bit overcast so we had our hoodies on. It was windy and quite choppy but nothing horrendous. After about half an hour it hit me…seasickness. Seasickness that meant I saw more of the toilet than the sea. I then could only lie down until we got back. I had my new green sunglasses on and my skin coordinated well with them lol.

I’ve just managed to eat a bit of food. No more boat trips out to sea for me!!
