Were being watched!
Lots of sunbeams this morning but the sky was really overcast and visibility was poor and as I've been through the gambit of blue bells and blossom over the last few days it was the fact that the cattle at Lamberts were very interested in Jinxy this morning that got my blip.
Jinxy usually wonders among the cattle, seemingly oblivious of them, head down nose twitching on some sent or other and quite often the younger cattle will go up an smell him and he just goes his way sniffing.
Today however this one was sufficiently interested to stop what she was doing (scratching her head on that tree) and watch us walk by. I didn't see the bull among them this morning, he is often to be found in some quiet spot having five minutes to himself. The herd, here to trample the vegetation down, are on the whole very docile and take no notice of the dozens of dogs and their owners passing by every day. Long may that continue!!
