Learning to fly

Totally no apologies for another owl blip, I'm smitten lol.

Took a while to locate little one today, hopefully he knows how to take shelter from the rain, but later as it cleared I found him atop the wall looking out at the long sloping drop of the back field - somewhere I'm sure is a near perfect hunting ground for his proud Momma - she kept a beady eye on me (they really do rotate their heads 180°!) and I kept a respectful distance from her chick.
In extras... Momma Owl, and meal time - she's looking after him well.
