Soggy bottom

Away with the caravan for a few days.
Biblical rain on the way here but it had stopped by the time we arrived. However the site owner reckoned it was as wet as he’d ever seen it and the pitches had definitely got standing water on them. That was three hours ago but it is still very wet. Even the mats don’t hold it back, the ground has half an inch of water on it.
We are hoping it will drain away over night.
The bad news is it is forecast to do it again tomorrow morning.
