Walkway
A day out in the Clyde Valley for our Ramblers group today, and a visit to the New Lanark World Heritage Site.
Our route took us from New Lanark down to the Falls of Clyde and Bonnington Weir, and then back up the other side of the river to Kirkfieldbank where we crossed the river again and returned to New Lanark for our end of walk coffee stop.
Lots of steep climbs on paths and wooden steps, and it was abundantly clear that the munching of sausage rolls, sandwiches and cakes over the past few days had really taken its toll on me. Oops!
