Buttercups

We certainly had some weather last night but looking at this morning's news we got off light. Part's of East Devon and Somerset had some serious flooding. One of the clips being shown was of someone washing the mud off their property. I wouldn't want to be the person to remind them that there's still a hosepipe ban in force!

The afternoon weather was brighter and I took a walk up a footpath through Wear Farm looking for a view for the Wide on Wednesday challenge (hosted by BobsBlips) it's an open theme this week. I thought I might have a view of the rapeseed flowers and they're still fairly bright but I also found some lovely buttercups in the grass. They brighten the foreground nicely.
