Lichen.

Another lovely sunny morning. I went off to M&S to food shop. Chatted to the Big Issue seller who is usually there saying how nice and warm and sunny it was. While I was at the back of the Food Hall there was a very loud roaring noise from outside. Rain. To say it was torrential was an understatement.  Thankfully it didn't last long and the big Issue seller had been able to shelter.  There were big puddles as I came over the hill road.but the sun was out again so I stopped at Craigimead car park and went to see what the larch trees were like. Sometimes there are orange tip butterflies and I've seen an occasional green hairstreak but not today.  Had to content myself with a bit of lichen. After lunch I went into the garden and weeded.  Progress is slow but a whole trug of weeds went into the compost bin.before I came in for coffee and a read on the sofa.
