Funny Garden Art

Went on a drive today with the hubby. Drove out to the butterfly pavilion but we are a bit early. In about a month there will be more blooms, butterflies and hummingbirds. This is a large garden! And, there is a walking trail where every tree native to Oregon is represented. I snapped quite a few shots of osprey, black birds with red dots( I will have to research what they are), little thrush, turkey vultures and shots of the garden but none of them I was pleased with so it is a piece of the many cool garden statues all about. This one made me smile :)
Then on the way back stopped out at Loon Lake. We hadn't been out there before and heard much good things about it so we wanted to check it out. It is a lovely little lake with camping and such. And, this adorable little gas station! We will go back this summer with a picnic lunch!
No rain today. Got some sprinkles while we were driving but the sun kept peaking through the clouds so not a bad day, weather wise. Chilly tonight though. So, a fire is going, dinner is cooking and movies are ready to go. Another movie night!!
