"The Mallee Scrub Roller"...

...Used to roll down Scrub-land and drawn by bullocks...right where we live now, where eventually there were fruit-growing blocks...not here now, but further away as the town itself has progressed over time..

...The reconstructed Old Mildura Station Homestead, just around the corner from us, is where the original Chaffey Brothers, pioneers, first had their home..

...It is all run the by Mildura Rural City Council and is a time capsule of the past..with a rose garden, cottage, woolshed, stables, and implements... and is well visited daily by many..

... On the other side of this Homestead, is the River Murray where the paddle/steamer/boats cruise along daily...

...On the right of the photograph here is a variety of the wattle bush/tree, which is coming into bloom now and will be beautiful....
