Holly Blue

Time to get the butterfly book down from the shelf.

A holly blue, nowhere near the holly though.

An early blip but I probably won't get anything more interesting today. I took 20 shots of this beauty this morning, spotted when I was feeding the hedgehog. Two of them were OK focus wise, that's a whopping 10% success rate.

My book tells me this is a first generation female. I'm cheekily tagging her for Wide Wednesday as there is no special theme, and she has got her wings wide open :-)

This morning I am going to finish editing my 2022 images, only 10 to go and I will then be 100% up to date.

We are popping out to see some friends this afternoon for tea and a catch up.
