Bluebells

For some years I have been wanting a particular shot of bluebell woods.  I identified the location and viewpoint some time ago (sadly not particularly close to home), and I know the time of day and weather conditions I want for the shot. I also want it, naturally, to be the peak of the bluebell season. Since identifying this, the opportunity has never arisen to take that particular photograph. (The pandemic knocked out a couple of years of opportunity.)

Once again it seems I am not going to get the shot this year - the weather has not been right when I could have gone.  So, this evening we just visited some local woods where I know bluebells thrive.  These woods can be a little untidy, with fallen branches and logs and the bluebells don't seem to grow in such a widespread, intense crop as my preferred location.  Now, weeds are growing up among them, beginning to smother them.

Nonetheless, I took a few shots, just to keep my hand in.
