Patchy Morning Mist

A fine calm day, and evening, but a day of mist.  It was raining in the morning too.

Another early shift in the airport, and mostly been on the check-in desk.  I did meet the Kirkwall flight when it landed at 12 noon.  More delays and cancelled flights due to the weather, hectic again.  Popped by Laura's on my way home.  I've been working in the shop this evening, and a fairly quiet night.  Most customers wanted a long chat though.  Feet up now.

Sea haar rolling in, and plenty of mist and low cloud on the hills.  Scalloway was steekit (pea soup style mist) when I woke at 5am, but clearer patches from Gulberwick and south, until the airport.  The mist started to lift in the late afternoon, and cleared for a while, even folk reporting sunshine, but it came back down with a vengeance this evening.  A misty view looking south at 6am, from Cruster, Sandwick.
