statue of Dolores Ibarruri (1895- 1989 ) erected to the courage of those men and women who went to Spain to fight fascism in the 1936/39 Spanish Civil War. Of the 634 who were killed, 65 came from Glasgow.
Splendid walk along the Clyde from Glasgow Green, while others were splashing plastic in the shops, wonder what the damage will be.
