Bluebell wood

I spent the morning checking the Central America book as there is an offer on Blurb.

Mr C had a dental appointment in Morpeth so I went with him this afternoon so that we could have a short bluebell wood walk near there. It was very muddy underfoot after all the rain. Luckily we got back to the car before the next downpour.

Poor Ella has been out-of-sorts recently, stressing about these BL…y SATS. Daughter did some excellent parenting yesterday. Instead of doing her school
marking she spent the afternoon chatting with Ella, having cuddles and watching a film together. Luke took Nathaniel out of the way. She was much calmer and seemed more herself this morning. These tests go on for 4 days. Usually they start on Monday and on Friday the children get a day off on a trip. But with the extra coronation holiday there’s no time for that.
