Getting started

Lots of rain on the way. In fact, as I type, it's hammering down outside and we've got lightning and thunder with it. Just wondering why we usually say 'Thunder and Lightning' when the lightning comes first!
When we had dry, even sunny, weather earlier today I made a start in the veg garden. Planted four bought tomato plants, two sweet peppers and four poles of French Beans.
On the other side of the poles is a rather nice rhubarb, 'Champagne' I think it's called. A bog standard rhubarb on the other side of the log pile.
Planted some tomato seeds a couple of weeks ago, from shop bought tomatoes, and they are starting to show themselves. They are in the greenhouse along with a few other things. Can't remember what the few other things are because the paper labels have disintegrated!
