Wonderful wildlife walk!

This loch must be one of the best for variety of species! This beautiful tiny Green Hairstreak was in the vegetation alongside the boggy pools where I was looking ,in vain, too early, for dragons. It was a bonus! Coming up through the woods there were  Chiffchaff, Willow Warblers, Yellow hammers, Thrushes, Buzzard , Blackcaps and Wrens. On the loch side , were Sedge Warblers and Reed Warblers and on the loch the Swan was nesting,as were Little Grebe, Slavonian Grebe, Coot, Moorhens and Tufted Duck. The sun was hot and it was paradise!
