Making a beeline

We're following no mow May again this year although I've had to cut some paths, avoiding wildflowers, so that Rocky the cat doesn't get submerged in long grass. In fact I didn't cut the grass, save for the Rocky paths, until October last year. The idea is to  encourage bees and other pollinators and, just to point the way, we've acquired this Buzzin' Bee flag. The flagpole' was purchased at the Womad Festival around 14 years ago and is not really designed for a banner of this size but, for the moment at least, it looks the "bees' knees".
