Jack's first ride since Wednesday. Big relief that he's trotting up fine. We had a great ride (I was in Buddy today) but he was a bit cheeky pulling his head down for grass as he's not been out in the field since Thursday morning! 
 
We spent the afternoon at the cinema with the Castledines. Bit gutted we planned something indoors for a catch up as the forecast was for very heavy rain and it stayed dry till about 6pm. Never mind. Jack had a couple of hours turn out time but back in his stable for the night off the grass. Feel so anxious about it. So hard to manage when you're on a livery yard and stuck with the wrong type of grazing and set up for your horses needs. Just have to manage round what we've got. Don't like him being in so much (even though he likes his stable) but the alternative is worse and hopefully when it all dries up and the grass stops growing so fast he can go back to 24/7 turnout.
