Bluebells
First outing with my new kit - the replacement for my canon m50 which never really worked for me as a 'walk around' camera.
I went out to the bluebell wood and although it was a fairly short walk (rain set in and it was busy) I left feeling quite impressed with the camera overall. I think I've worked out most of the settings which I would habitually use although you also need a proper 'memory palace' to remember where everything is in the labyrinthine menu system.
Unfortunately, there was a lot debris left on the forest floor from coppicing back in the autumn, which made it hard to get 'pretty' shots. The pro lens short zoom is seems to be very sharp and I know that I will need to invest in a longer zoom as well. (Suggestions please?) That would have made things a bit easier this morning.
So you have a close up shot, a wider angle 'landscape shot' and an ICM (because I was playing with the settings.) Only the ICM has been tweaked for colour - the others are straight out of camera.
