Strelitzia, Bird Of Paradise.

We first saw one of these plants during our honeymoon in 1988. This one was photographed yesterday, (so, very unusually for me, it’s not an image taken today). The bird is almost shedding a tear. The strelitzia is a beautiful plant, it reminds us of sunnier days and much more. This is a nicer photograph than anything taken today when out or home. It seemed to be dreich or simply very wet for too long.
