Sing A Song
No wonder we have lots of song sparrows because they have 2 or more clutches a season. The most on record is 7! • They’re common in the US and Canada and change their appearance depending on where they live • MrsP and I worked together clearing leaves and debris from one of our flower beds. This included trimming seven tall grasses, too. What a job! It was good to see Joe Pye Weed aka Jo-Jo and Dr. Seuss Bee Balm again. Both are peeking through with dreams of growing big and tall this summer • Our neighbors across the street are due to arrive from Florida today. We’ve been looking for them to be the first to extend a Welcome Home cheer. They’ll be tired after a long 24 hour drive • Did you know birds eat bananas? I didn’t either! Place one on the ground or on a platform feeder. Don’t peal them! • Sing Out Loud, Sing Out Strong!
