A wonderful piece of writing in the Guardian which summed up this weekend's coronation celebrations for me ;) 
Looking like a couple of elderly polar bears on tour, the ermine-cloaked majesties were the centre of a day that was huge and hideous, exquisite and sacred, all at once...

A no-brainer in the UK - or England, at least - to find signs of celebration still in evidence, from the little flags in the planter round the corner, to big flags up flagpoles in gardens, and bunting festooned everywhere.

Glad the weather was kind to those having street/garden parties yesterday - it has rained pretty much non-stop today ;(
