Feline Flight
This lucky capture was the first effort of this morning. It was so dark I had to use
the flashlight. This one sure would be sweller without the shadows but then Junnu's
facial features come out nicely.
In case you want to try it with your kitten, here's how:
Choose a location, ideally the bed covered with a bedspread. We presume here
that the cat is there, in mood for jumping.
Choose a smallish furry toy - not too light - place it on the bedspread, stick your hand under the textile so that the toy is on the fingers. Then hit the object sharply so that it flies up about 2-3 feet. Keep the camera prefocused to the area where you try to shoot the projectile.
Practice makes perfect. Not all kittens get the knack, because many are horizontally orienting. Jumping takes the vertically talented like Junnu.
