A lovely morning walk from home over the fields and along the River Soar to Barrow upon Soar.

I watched a programme last night on BBC4 that followed the River Trent from its source to the Humber and was inspired to do a local river walk today. The Soar flows into the Trent just below Long Eaton. Some extras of river pictures.

The doorbell caught my eye on the way home through the village.
