Retrospective exhibition Johannes Vermeer
Johannes Vermeer was a Dutch painter in the Golden Age. Vermeer is hailed as one of the greatest painters of the seventeenth century. Vermeer preferred timeless, subdued moments. It remains enigmatic because of the inimitable color scheme and the bewildering light content.
The exhibition is very busy and it is actually too busy to view the works properly. Seen in rijksmuseum Amsterdam.
