Dazzle
During a practice session comparing vintage 50mm lens performance with a modern 50mm lens (z50mm), it was the latter to shine. On a sunny mid afternoon shooting toward the sun i was able to capture a series of images with beautiful bubble bokeh, focussing on a yet unopened Honey lily.
Whilst all round me was the soft buzzing of busy bee wings. I was next to a pergola oozing with many soft pink Clematis Montana, full of honey bees. Around my general feet area were flowering three cornered leek, buzzing around which were the workers of both white tail & red tail bumble bees. Directly below me i could see and hear the higher pitched wings of the Bee fly, taking nectar from the multitude of shining cranesbill.
A wonderful few moments to while away absorbing nature at work
