Happy and Glorious
A smashing walk after work with C and the Megs crowned a super spring day. A place new to each of us, a patch of woodland managed by the Woodland Trust who are bringing it back to nature after conifers were felled. The path climbed up to this wonderful vantage point where we sat for a while on a bench overlooking the upper Dysynni valley. We will go back there again, the big field below the woods, part of the enclosed site, perfect for letting the dogs run free.
Busy but not impossibly so at Aber cafe today, quiet between trains allowing us to catch up and draw breath in between. This evening I popped to pottery bringing back some clay to use tomorrow and some of a friends work in the hope it will dry more quickly here in my warm kitchen than in the pottery. Rain is forecast tomorrow so I should have some time to be creative .... once the housework is done!
An extra pic - Moraea saxicola excelled itself today, the two stems producing a flush of simultaneous flowers. Pictured in a moment at home before our walk, the flowers had shrivelled by the time I got home.
