La Main dans le Sac
Red-handed. The game we played this evening with the Cameron and Harris families. A game where you have to describe words or sayings given to you on a card...the person who has the card when the buzzer sounds loses for their team! Now after a little bit of wine this game gets very tense and rivalities between the teams soon start...hilarious fun, and definitely thinking about investing in it when I get home to England! We had another customer arrival today...four adults and four children in the three bedroom - rather them than me!
The rest of the day was spent of customer cleans and montages. Jen and I both realised pretty early on that both of us are not too good in mornings. Grumpy is possibly the nicest way to describe me! It runs in the family though...my mum and I will happily sit in barely contained anger at the idea of having to get up before the body clock gets us and stay in silence until the time that we probably should have woken up at. Once you're used to it though it is fine! This is Jen and I later on this evening, she refused to be in a picture without me in it...so this is in our Reception/Living Area, with our found French numberplate living above our mirror. A nice little decoration I would say!
Raining all today though. The worse day we've had here so far actually, but oh well, still getting a tan! Things are not going as planned unfortunately, a fully montaged van is now out of service due to a gas problem with the boiler, leaving us with another one to have to clean as a replacement before the weekend. Oh goody...
Much of the pain in life comes from having a life plan that you've fallen in love with, and when it doesn't work out, you become angry that you now have to pursue a new one. If you want to tame your inner demons, you must not become too attached to any particular life plan, and remain open to an ever better, happier one.
