Jersey Boys

Our 2nd show this month. Tonight Mr G and I went to see Jersey Boys, the story of Franki Valli and the Four Seasons. It is being staged at Monte Casino's Teatro in Fourways with an all South African cast.

My sister-in-law arranged four tickets for us and my in-laws and we have been looking forward to the show for a few weeks. It was such a different experience to our Bon Jovi concert of two weeks ago. Then we had to dress for outdoor weather and a huge crowd. Tonight it was a civilized affair with smart outfits, parking below the theatre, a walk through a faux Italian city, a world class theatre and dinner at a fancy restaurant after the show.

It was a very well staged production which we really enjoyed. We have come to expect these top class productions from our local artists and they don't disappoint us.

I am still not over my flu but I am feeling much better tonight. Thank you for all your well-wishes!
