Full Nest

Despite working today a happy Mrs S was looking forward to having a “full nest” if only for a couple of days.
I got on with the housework and some recycling, how can so much packaging come from one flat pack bed and a mattress? Curry made and ready for tonight’s dinner and a cottage pie made for tomorrow and refrigerated. Joshua, having arrived from Worthy Down, settled with a coffee and having spoken to Sam booked tickets for tonight’s Cornish Pirates rugby match.
“Dad, can you drop us at Penmere?”
“Of course and I’ll pick you up from Truro”

Off they went having not eaten as it was too early, Mrs S and I thoroughly enjoyed our curry.
Then the text messages started to arrive;
“We might be late”
“OK”
“Can you pick us up from Penzance around 10?”
“Can you make it 11?”
“Is 11:30 ok?”
“I’ll be there”
