Birthday Tea

Tim and Adele are over in Skipton because it is Rebecca’s birthday.
We drove in two cars to Hebden and met G and C . We walked the high route through fields to come to the top of Grassington. Here we came across the most charming street party surrounded by tractors strung with red white and blue bunting .
We carried on to Linton and stopped at the pub for refreshments. Here too was a charming celebration on the village green. A band, duck race and other activities including food. Saw two of the original Calendar girls looking fabulous.
We carried on walking by the river back to Hebden where Rebecca had booked afternoon tea for us and paid for it too.
I had to bring some of mine home as l couldn’t manage another bite.
Back at Rebecca’s now for an evening of fun and games.
Struggling with putting my blip on as l forgot to bring my iPad for the weekend so can’t add any extras to show what a beautiful area we have been in today.
