…….. at the Coronation of King Charles. Specially made screens shield the king who was anointed in moments between him and God. Millions around the world witnessed this unforgettable day….. the first coronation of a monarch in Britain for seventy years.
And what a magnificent spectacle of pomp and ceremony….. both in Westminster Abbey and outdoors.
Friend Dawn and I were glued to the TV. Enthralled. The late beloved Queen Elizabeth’ s Coronation was, after all, 70 years ago. No colour TV in those days. Black and white movie films which , as a child, I watched avidly. Now all these years later we celebrate our new King, Charles. . God save the King.
