Another Bookclub meeting

Amongst having lots to do to prepare for the visit of some of the art club,      I also had a meeting of the Camberley book club. We had read Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus The story of a female Chemist in the 1950/60’s who starts off struggling to overcome sexism. She ends up happy having hosted a cooking programme that she turns into chemistry lessons along the way.  It reminded me of the way men behave towards capable women even now!  A very funny book once you get past the first bit!  After the book club i went out to lunch with friend J at Farfield Mill
