A Grand day out

I hope you had one too whatever you decided to do today.
Spent all day in the local woods in the sunshine. Lots of Peacock butterflies flying and my first male Orange tip and speckled wood also around. Watched a Sea Eagle above us being mobbed by a Black throated diver.
Did a little guerilla conservation work while we were there, there are much less rhododendrons and self seeded Sitka spruce in this part of the wood now. Very satisfying day for me, more so than watching the pomp and ceremony of the coronation plus it was lovely and quiet in the woods
