Spring time in the woods

This morning  we took a walk in local woods (Parnholt, near Farley Mount ) to see the bluebells. We were not disappointed. I also found  a clump of Moschatel and, at last,  managed to photograph a flower head (see extra). 

This evening I attended an education  event run by  a few local  ophthalmologists, for opticians. I had  received an invitation, and  although  no longer in practice, I wanted to catch up with  former colleagues and to learn what's new in optics. It turned out a lovely evening, and wonderful to see people  after over two years in retirement, although I didn't feel tempted to go back to work!
