A coronation

Today a new king is crowned!  I must admit to loving all the immaculately timed pageantry.  People come from the four corners of the globe to see it.  Many more will come to see where it all took place. 

In my opinion William's children stole the show!  They were so good and for such a long time.

The gospel choir was a highlight.  I also loved Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Make a joyful noise".  I couldn't find a link to it.  I expect that is because it is due to be made into a single and sold in aid of charities according to one item I read. Then the drive back to the Palace with all the soldiers marching.  What a sight !  The rain didn't stop the crowds.  I used two photos - taken of the TV - one of the wet bear skins of the King's Guard and of course one of King Charles III during the coronation.

WE were just 4 watching together: B, M, J and myself.  We celebrated with  a meal and now I'm home.  Ro has gone to watch Football!  A good day and a concert to look forward to tomorrow!  On Monday we have the girls for the day and night!
