The Coronation

Security was very high at the village street party. Oliver left his crown behind but it was soon safely recovered by his grandad. I grabbed a picture of it first though.

We spent the morning watching the Coronation on TV. Everyone in the outside pageantry got a bit wet but it was all done very well of course. The best supporting actor award goes to Penny Mordaunt looking much like a classic Britannia while carrying the Sword of State into the Abbey and the Jewelled Sword of Offering on the way out.
