My Hidea-us outboard engine

The motor that came with my project boat. Only a couple of years old according to the previous custodian but at least five according to the engine plate. Maybe the boat shop had it in stock a long time.
The engines are Chinese copies of Japanese products and the build quality isn’t great ( hence the nickname) so there are no outboard motor sales outlets still handling them. One firm has however suggested that certain items are dimensionally the same as Orca engines and parts may fit. Not that I need any spares at the moment but I’d like to give it a service before going to sea.
