Coronation Day

We all watched this as a family and thought it was a marvellous occasion, from the pageantry of the parades, to the moving service in Westminster Abbey, to the appearance on the balcony.  We thought the rain probably showed up all the colours better than if we had had blazing sunshine.  Not so pleasant for the crowds though and I was a little disappointed that the flypast had to be hugely reduced and there were no older planes involved.
