A tight squeeze
Dreadful weather for the coronation or whatever anyone else was doing today.
We enjoyed watching the coronation but hope they retire the state coaches once and for all. Leave them as museum pieces and find more appropriate modes of transport if William is ever crowned.
Queen Camilla seemed a bit concerned that her hair wasn't tucked under the crown (which looked a tad too large for her head) and kept fiddling with it. I wasn't keen on her being crowned, but it was done discreetly.
George and the other page boys did a great job and Louis, as usual, kept us entertained.
I was quite surprised to see one of the Wimbledon trophy plates on the high altar, except perhaps it wasn't.
Had I been invited my main worry would have been where was the nearest toilet and would it be alright to excuse myself during the service.
Penny Mordant did a cracking job holding that sword aloft for the majority of the service. Very impressive. I see Liz Truss managed to get an invite in spite of only being vaguely memorable. Oh, hang on, she was centre stage for the late Queen's funeral wasn't she?
Harry's kept the engine running on the plane and is no doubt now winging his way back to the US, hoping they'll let him back in before his Visa runs out.
The great tits are very busy squeezing in and out of the nest box, feeding young.
