Lovey Doveys

On this perfectly glorious May morning, Malcolm and Molly are sensing that love is in the air and put on an extensive show of "billing and cooing".  It was so sweet.  They both had their eyes shut and rubbed beaks while softly cooing their love song.  The term has been around since the 18th century and although it usually applies to courting rituals of pigeons and doves, it is a sweet old-fashioned phrase for necking, making out, smooching, or playing kissy-face.  Ah, spring and as Alfred Lord Tennyson said, 'In the Spring a young man's fancy lightly turns to thoughts of love.'

Gift#126: a glorious May morning.
