Golden Years

We left Te Anau this morning and after two hours driving dropped the lovely daughter Jennie and her sister Bev at the Queenstown Airport.  Our drive through to Lake Tekapo was like this blip with the blue sky and the golden trees glittering in the sunshine.  When we turned to head to the east coast the sky was more overcast but it was an easy if long drive. We will spend the night here in Christchurch and then head for home tomorrow.  Andrew has kept us updated with the heavy rain that has fallen at home.
